Emishi prince, Ashitaka, tried to make peace between the village, Irontown, and the forest creatures surrounding the area. However, he was cursed by a Boar God and often traveled between Irontown and the forest to find a cure. He stumbled upon San, also known as Princess Mononoke or Wolf Girl, when she was attacking the village. With the help of San, Ashitaka’s curse was lifted. On top of that, they both were able to restore peace and balance between the village and the forest.
